Summary
Consulting firms can leverage Catalant, a platform that connects businesses with independent consultants and small firms, to supplement their teams and to find projects. Integrating Catalant resources into their operating model, allows consulting firms to find new project opportunities as well as flex their teams up and down, adapting to market changes more effectively.. In this guide, we'll outline the process of acquiring and managing your firm’s profile and members on the Catalant platform.
Becoming a Firm on Catalant
Catalant's firm profiles are used by consulting firms to highlight the services that the firm provides. This allows clients to toggle between an Expert's individual profile, and the firm's profile.
We typically reserve our firm profiles for organizations with 3 or more full-time employees. The firm profile will exist in addition to your individual profile on the platform.
You may obtain a firm account in two ways: at the time of account creation/sign-up, or by emailing community@gocatalant for further assistance if you’ve already created an account. If you would like to maintain an independent expert account in addition to one linked to a firm account, please contact support@gocatalant.com for assistance.
Firm Member Role Types
On Catalant, a consulting firm's profile can have two primary role types: admin and member. These distinct roles enable a seamless workflow within the firm, promoting efficient collaboration and effective management of consulting engagements on the Catalant platform.
Administrator (Admin): An admin account has full access to manage the firm's profile, including adding or removing team members, editing company information, and overseeing projects and engagements. Admins have the authority to control permissions and settings, ensuring that the firm's profile remains accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with its strategic objectives.
Member: The member account is for consultants within the firm to collaborate on projects, engage with clients, and contribute their expertise to various assignments from within their individual account. Members can access their own project details, communicate with clients, and track progress, fostering teamwork and enhancing project execution. They are only visible to firm partners or admins, not clients.
Firm Team Workspaces
Firm team workspaces serve as collaborative environments designed to streamline communication and project management within consulting firms. These workspaces allow members of a firm to collaborate effectively on various projects, share documents, track progress, and communicate with clients seamlessly. Within a team workspace, admins can monitor project milestones to ensure timely and successful project completion. Moreover, these workspaces enable firms to centralize project information, making it easier to access critical data and insights needed for decision-making. By utilizing firm profile team workspaces on Catalant, consulting firms can enhance teamwork, improve project visibility, and deliver exceptional results to their clients more efficiently.
