Writing a compelling pitch is the first step towards winning a project on Catalant. Clients typically review pitches from several qualified candidates, choose to schedule a scoping call based on the quality of pitches, and can easily identify generic submissions.
We've recently updated the pitch form template, seen below.
Below are tips on how to craft a compelling pitch and differentiate yourself from other experts
Have an expert on your team or in your network who would be a perfect fit for a Catalant project?
While we recommend that experts working independently create an individual Catalant profile here, pitches may be submitted on behalf of a member of your team. Keep the following things in mind when pitching for a member of your team:
Be clear about expert resources.
Make it clear to the client that another individual or team member will complete the project.
Upload a full resume or CV.
The client won’t be able to see your team member’s Catalant profile. Always upload a full resume or CV of the individual or team members who would work on the project.
Continuously set expectations.
If a client requests a call, message them to clearly explain who will join the conversation or lead the discussion.
