As you browse opportunities, you'll notice that each project lists a Status corresponding to a specific step in the Catalant process. This feature is meant to help you target opportunities where the Client is most receptive to new pitches.
See the definition of each project Status below:
New - The project was recently posted and the Client has not yet begun to review candidate pitches.
Reviewing Pitches - The Client has begun to review initial pitches (expressions of interest) from candidates. This is still a good time to submit a pitch, but we would recommend moving quickly.
Interviewing Candidates - The Client has begun conducting interview calls with top candidates. While Clients may still consider new pitches at this point, Client interest in additional pitches tends to decrease once active conversations with top candidates have begun.
Reviewing Proposals - The Client has interviewed candidates and is currently reviewing formal project proposals. At this stage, Clients are often very close to selecting a candidate for the project and new pitches are unlikely to be considered.
