When a client approves an expert’s proposal, the details from the approved proposal are pre-populated into a Project Agreement contract for expert and client review.
The first portion of the Project Agreement outlines all of the project-specific details, such as start and end dates, approach and deliverables, and fees. The subsequent pages contain the terms and conditions governing the engagement, such as confidentiality and work product ownership.
The Project Agreement is executed in 3 steps:
1) The expert and the client both review the Project Agreement and complete the additional required fields in the interactive PDF.
2) The expert signs the Project Agreement, available from the email prompting him or her to sign using the e-signature workflow or in Catalant's platform.
3) Once the expert has signed, the client signs the Project Agreement, available from the email prompting him or her to sign the agreement using the e-signature workflow or Catalant's platform. A copy of the fully executed Project Agreement will be emailed to both parties and stored in the Catalant platform to be viewed or downloaded at any time in the Files tab of the Workspace.
