Clients primarily choose Experts for projects based on a combination of the Expert’s experience with similar projects and their relevant industry knowledge. Share this essential information with prospective clients by adding Past Projects to your profile.
Experts are able to add up to 10 past projects on their profile. The goal is to add a shortlist of a few past projects that you will be able to highlight when pitching on a project. Experts will be able to highlight up to 2 past projects in their pitch. Please remember that you should be able to reuse these past projects examples and at the pitch stage, speak to why it’s relevant to the project and add attachments.
To add a Past Project to your Profile:
- Click “Profile” located in the blue navigation bar on the left side of your Dashboard
- Scroll to the section, displayed below, titled “Past Projects”
- Input the required information
For each Past Project be sure to include a relevant Project Title and then use the PAR format in the Project Summary to highlight the client Problem, the Actions you took, and the Results you achieved. Below are two examples. Please note that there are character limits.
Sample Past Project #1
Project Title: Next Generation Supply Strategy for Diversified Chemicals Manufacturer
Problem: Component supply strategies and supplier-partner relationships had grown so complex, that the Fortune 1000 client could no longer undertake large-scale initiatives without triggering unintended negative consequences across the supply chain. This produced cost overruns, missed customer commitments, and even the lowest North American NPS in 12 Years.
Actions: We completed an end-to-end review of the current state of supply and supplier relationships and analyzed this against leading global best practices, ultimately recommending 5 mission-critical improvements.
Results: Three mission-critical improvements were implemented within the first fiscal-year following the engagement. The other two are now in progress.
Sample Past Project #2
Project Title: Market Research for Emerging Technology PE Fund
Problem: The Private Equity client had an opportunity to launch a B2B SaaS portfolio. The players in their selected space were spread across the globe and background information and intelligence were limited or non-existent.
Actions: Structured and project managed a global primary research campaign that produced complete dossiers and investment prospectus for 30 of 34 target companies.
Results: This project was completed in record time and allowed the client to identify twelve (12) target companies that met the selection criteria thresholds.
